What sits on your paint.
Paint protection film is a clear urethane layer bonded over your car’s clear coat. Tap a layer to see what it does.
The outer skin of the film. It keeps the finish glossy, and on self-healing films light swirl marks level out with heat.
The clear urethane body. It is the part that takes rock chips, sand and road debris instead of your paint.
Holds the film tight to the clear coat. Each piece is cut to the shape of its panel so the edges disappear.
Your car’s own factory clear coat. The film goes on top of it: nothing is sanded or repainted.
The color underneath stays exactly as it left the factory.
The film took the hit. The paint under it is untouched.
